This video portrays emphasis through contrast and proportion. Waking up in the dark room and walking to turn on the light is a major contrast of light. The proportion of the hair compared to what it would normally look like emphasizes what a bad hair day would feel like...a disaster.

Emphasis//Unity
In this video I create an emphasis on my spiral staircase. This is accomplished by showing the unity of the other buildings and their repeated spiral staircases in comparison to mine. It is clear to see the emphasis on the used staircase due to the proportion of the others. The separate buildings show distance compared to the closeness of my stairs.
Balance//Focal Point//Unity Variety
I attempted to portray balance throughout this doodle through the symmetry of the designs and colors. The values and textures in the piece are also balanced and this brings pleasure to one's eye. Using complementary and analogous colors next to each other was one way to achieve this. The drawing itself has a focal point in the middle of the page, while the surrounding figures emphasize this point more dramatically. There is also emphasis on the 4th tear drop colored in, by the slowing of the video and the different ways you 'could' draw. Unity is found within the repetition of shapes, while there is variety within the different shapes.
Unity//Rhythm//Balance
The candy in this video is unified while it varies in color. The repetition of the separation of the candy also unifies this video, while simultaneously bringing a rhythm to it. Although, not perfectly symmetrical, there is approximate symmetrical balance found within the frame and your eyes are able to move across the screen at ease. This is due to the balance in hue and chroma in the candy. Finally, balance is portrayed within the value and texture of the candy.

Variety//Emphasis//Balance//Proportion
Emphasis on the slice that I will eat is shown in this video, while variety is also portrayed with the use of different pizza toppings. The symmetry of the half-cheese and half-pepperoni pizza displays balance, as well as the placement of cheese on top. The slice chosen is 1/6th of the pizza and this shows proportion.
Variety
Painting nails, a weekly chore of the female life, was done so using variety in color and design.
